MITCHELL - Dakota Wesleyan University's annual homecoming parade is set for 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, on Mitchell's Main Street. Businesses, organizations, clubs and youth groups are invited to participate. The university is celebrating its 140th anniversary this year.

The theme for the 2025 Blue and White Days parade is "Roarin' Thru the Decades." Parade entries are encouraged to choose one of the 14 decades that DWU has existed from the 1880s to the 2020s and have some fun. The organizing committee always encourages parade participants to incorporate DWU's blue and white colors and iconic tiger mascot into their float designs.

There is no fee to enter the parade. Registration is due by Oct. 24 by noon. To register for the parade, visit https://www.dwu.edu/parade.

Awards will be given to first, second and third place, as well as honorable mentions.
