TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Dave Kerner to the Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees.
Dave Kerner
Kerner is the Executive Director of the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Active in his community, he was previously elected as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 87, and as a Palm Beach County Mayor and Commissioner. He began his career as a law enforcement officer in 2005 and is a prior City of Alachua Police Department Officer of the Year. Kerner attended Palm Beach State College and earned his bachelor's degree and his juris doctor from the University of Florida.
This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
