Minister Falconer has launched a new initiative to support the Government of Yemen. The programme will support a peaceful, prosperous and secure future for the people of Yemen.

Details
On 20 January Hamish Falconer, Minister for North Africa and the Middle East visited the United Nations to call for full implementation of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal. He also announced the launch of a UK-led initiative to provide financial and political support for Yemen's future.
Known as 'TAFFY', the initiative will include a technical assistance fund, and bring the international community together to support governance in Yemen.
This document is the UK-Yemen joint communiqué following the co-hosted event for establishing international support for the Government of Yemen.
