Center lanes closing overnight Wednesday on Garden of the Gods Road
Beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, the center lanes of Garden of the Gods Road will close east of Interstate 25 for overnight construction work. The closure will remain in place until 5 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11. At least one lane will stay open in each direction.
Motorists are asked to use extra caution on Garden of the Gods Road near Northpark Drive and Mark Dabling Blvd. Safety barriers will be in place, and motorists can expect to see heavy equipment, safety signage, artificial lighting and workers on foot.
The project underway includes installation of new traffic lights at Northpark Drive and Mark Dabling Boulevard to make the area safer for drivers and pedestrians.
