Now that Fall 2025 semester is over, here's a look at the facilities and services that will be open, closed, or operating on a limited schedule during the winter break.
Holiday schedules can differ, depending on your assigned area of the University of Miami. Check out this year's holiday schedule to know which days your respective campus is open, and review the end-of-year pay schedules.
Look ahead and review the latest edition of the academic calendar for the Spring 2026 semester, which includes dates for upcoming housing availability, registration, and spring recess.
Dining
Coral Gables Campus
Most dining halls are closed starting Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025 through Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026. The Mahoney-Pearson and Centennial Village dining halls reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026. Visit UM Dining's website or @umdining on Instagram for the most recent information about all the campus food options.

The Patti and Allan Herbert Wellness Center is open from Monday, Dec. 15, through Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, and will observe the following schedule:
The center will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Thursday, Dec. 25; and Wednesday, Dec. 31 and Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.
