MVAA launches the MiVeteran app

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) created a mobile application designed for veterans and transitioning service members to with navigating their earned benefits and resources. The MiVeteran app provides quick access on mobile devices to support and services the MVAA offers, as well as showcases the opportunities Michigan has for veterans and transitioning service members to work, raise a family, continue their education and retire.

"The launch of this mobile app represents a significant advancement in our ongoing commitment to serving veterans," said MVAA director Brian Love. "By putting essential benefits and resources right at their fingertips, we're making it easier than ever to access the support they've earned - anytime, anywhere."

MiVeteran offers a variety of resources and information including:

  • DD-214 requests
  • Find a veteran service officer
  • State of Michigan benefits
  • Employment
  • Education
  • Housing assistance
  • healthcare and disability
  • Transitioning service members benefits guide
  • Michigan Veterans Homes
  • Michigan National Guard Family Program

The MiVeteran app is available for free and can be downloaded on your mobile device in the App Store and Google Play Store.
