The University of Toledo welcomed the Class of 2030 to campus with a slate of activities and events that began Friday morning as part of the University's annual Rocket Welcome Weekend to celebrate incoming first-year students.
Rocket Welcome Weekend began Friday morning with Donuts with the Dean of Students, as Dr. Sammy Spann, vice provost and dean of students, met with first-year students in Thompson Student Union Ingman Room.
The Class of 2030 then enjoyed lunch at the Flatlands that included walking tacos and cotton candy, before heading to Glass Bowl Stadium for the class photo.
Students then made their way to Thompson Student Union Auditorium for Rocky's Welcome, the annual tradition that introduces new Rockets to campus leaders, traditions and the spirit of Rocket Nation.
