WHAT:

The Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library warmly invites the entire community to dig into spring at our annual Get Growing Spring Showcase, a week of hands-on, family-friendly programs celebrating gardening, creativity, and curiosity!

Our Get Growing Spring Showcase is packed with a diverse range of activities that are sure to pique your interest. Highlights include a Henna Tattoo Workshop (May 3) led by local artist Achala Aull, a Plant Health Session with Dr. Craig Whippo (May 3), and Star Wars Terrariums for Kids (May 4) with Roberts Floral & Gifts. Everyone is invited to discover garden goodies from the Tower Garden Class (May 5). Teens and adults can explore papermaking in the Seed Paper Craft Workshop (May 5). The whole family is invited to experiment with Soil Science in a Jar with Billi Jean Petermann, Ph.D. (May 6), and Seed Ball Creation (May 8) with a pollinator activity hosted by NDSU Extension. No green thumbs are required-just bring your curiosity!

All our events are free, ensuring that everyone can participate. Most events require registration due to space and supply limitations. For full details and to sign up, visit tinyurl.com/BVMPL-GetGrowingShowcase or call 701-355-1489.
