According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested an 18-year-old Hudson Falls man following an investigation into a stolen vehicle recovered in the Town of Hebron.
On Friday, December 5, 2025, deputies and investigators located a motor vehicle on James Road that had been reported stolen earlier that day from the Town of Argyle. The vehicle was valued at more than $3,000.
As a result of the investigation, Caleb A. Wadsworth, age 18, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree, a Class D felony.
Wadsworth was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment and released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Hebron Town Court at a later date.
The case was handled by the Washington County Sheriff's Investigators Division and Deputies Wright and Lourie.
