Bus-50 to close at US-50 west of Warrensburg for intersection improvements, June 9-Fall 2025

JOHNSON COUNTY - Crews will close Missouri Business Highway 50 at U.S. Highway 50 west of Warrensburg on Monday morning, June 9. Motorists will not be able to access Bus-50 from either direction of US-50 or access US-50 from Bus-50. Drivers are encouraged to use Missouri Business Highway 13 to navigate the closure. The intersection is scheduled to re-open in Fall 2025. This closure is in relation to the intersection improvements project along US-50 from Missouri Highway 58 to Bus-50. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
