Manhattan Beach Celebrates America's 250th Anniversary

Join the City of Manhattan Beach for an evening of patriotic celebration during the America 250 Concert and Celebration on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM

This free community event commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States with live entertainment, community recognition, and a special military flyover.

The celebration begins at 4:30 PM with welcome remarks, followed by the Mayor's address recognizing America's historic milestone. The program will also honor the winner of the City's America 250 Commemorative Poster Contest.

Attendees will experience a patriotic ceremony featuring the presentation of the American flag by local Boy Scouts and a ceremonial historical color presentation by members of the Sons of the American Revolution. Mira Costa High School student Gavin Caleo will perform the National Anthem immediately before a special Tiger Squadron flyover.

Following the flyover, enjoy lively performances by The Satin Dollz, known for their vintage harmonies, patriotic favorites, and energetic entertainment. Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy concessions, participate in community activities, and visit the Daughters of the American Revolution booth to learn about the organization's role in preserving American history and honoring the nation's heritage.
