US 52 NB lane closures at the James River Road Overpass Bridge on the night of Thursday, October 23, 2025
There will be lane closures on US 52 North and South at Interstate 64 Exit 6 (US 52) from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, through Friday, October 24, 2025, for the bridge approaches to be paved and striped. During the closure, traffic will follow the posted temporary detour route signs, which utilize US 60 and I-64 Exit 15 (29thStreet). After completion of this work, the James River Road Overpass Bridge will reopen with no change to the current traffic pattern.
Drivers are advised to use extreme caution when traveling, watch for slow or stopped traffic and follow all posted signs. Law enforcement will be on site to assist in keeping the work site safe.
