Palm Bay Recreation has announced that its Community Outreach Day Open House, originally scheduled for Friday, June 5, at the Ted Whitlock Community Center, has been postponed until the fall.
The event was planned as a free, family-friendly opportunity for residents to connect with Palm Bay Recreation staff, meet local instructors and community partners, enjoy activities and refreshments, and provide input on future recreation programs and services.
While the in-person event has been postponed, Palm Bay Recreation still encourages residents to share their ideas and feedback by completing the community survey available at: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/g/x63H6x7PzR.
The survey allows residents to provide input on the classes, activities, programs, and events they would like to see offered throughout the community. Feedback collected through the survey will help guide future recreation programming and ensure offerings reflect the interests and needs of Palm Bay residents.
"We remain committed to listening to our community and creating programs that meet the interests of our residents," said Daniel Waite, Recreation Division Manager for the City of Palm Bay. "Although the event has been postponed, we encourage everyone to take a few minutes to complete the survey and let us know what they would like to see from Palm Bay Recreation in the future."
A new date for the Community Outreach Day Open House will be announced in the coming months.
