Forbes and and market research firm Statista compiled the latest ranking of the Best Employers in the state based on a survey of over 245,000 people working for companies with at least 500 employees. Those surveyed were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their company as a place to work. Participants also rated employers based on things such as wages, work culture, potential for development and whether the company takes action on serious issues such as sexual harassment. Those surveyed also were asked to evaluate their previous employers (within the last two years) and organizations they knew within their industry or through friends or family who work there.
