River Road, in Jefferson County, to be Closed Beginning Monday, December 8, 2025

River Road, County Route 17/1, from milepoint 0.15 to milepoint 3.29, in Jefferson County, will be closed to through traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., beginning on Monday, December 8, 2025, to Monday, December 29, 2025, to perform tree canopy cutting operations. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic. Local traffic should expect major delays and are advised to use an alternate route if possible. Exact schedule is weather-dependent.
