Minister Akazawa Holds a Teleconference with H.E. Howard W. Lutnick, Secretary of Commerce for the United States of America

Minister Akazawa held a teleconference with H.E. Howard W. Lutnick, Secretary of Commerce for the United States of America.

Today, commencing at 8:30 PM, for approximately 70 minutes, Minister Akazawa held a teleconference with H.E. Howard W. Lutnick, Secretary of Commerce for the United States of America.

Firstly, continuing from last night's conversation, Secretary Lutnick expressed their congratulations on the appointment of Minister Akazawa.

Both sides also exchanged views on the faithful, swift and seamless implementation of the agreement between Japan and the U.S. and reaffirmed that they will further strengthen the Japan-U.S. alliance, ensure economic security of both countries, and significantly promote economic growth through the implementation of the agreement.
