Our renovated center invites families to access health services, take classes, and more. Join our reopening event on June 27.
Berkeley families, especially those with lower incomes, can get help with their health at the City's wellness center in West Berkeley. Get free vaccines, breastfeeding support, yoga classes, and more.
Access health services, bring your child to our play area, or enjoy a peaceful moment in our garden. The newly renovated center welcomes everyone to take care of their wellbeing.
Come out to celebrate the center's reopening on June 27, and you can get a guided tour to services and resources while enjoying healthy treats.
Whether you join us at the event or stop by during open hours, get help keeping your family healthy at the West Berkeley Family Wellness Center.
You can access a variety of health services at the West Berkeley Family Wellness Center.
Those who are uninsured or on Medi-Cal can get free vaccinations. Heart 2 Heart offers free blood pressure screenings.
Low-income mothers can sign up for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program to get free food, breastfeeding support, and diapers. Black women can get parenting support through the Black Infant Health program. The Fatherhood Initiative offers peer support groups for dads.
The wellness center will also host grocery giveaways, yoga and meditation classes, and other events. Check our event calendar to learn more.
Everyone is welcome during weekdays 9 am - 5 pm to enjoy our child play area, community garden, and courtyard.

Arrive by 1:15 pm to join a guided tour of the building and courtyard. Hop on our smoothie bike and blend a refreshing drink with your own pedal power. Eat healthy snacks or purchase food from Camila's Mexican Food truck. Bring your kids-we'll have activities and games for all ages as well as face painting and henna.
Take care of your health with free blood pressure screenings. Connect with partner organizations including:

Public transit is available via AC Transit #51B. Two bike boulevards are blocks away. The surrounding neighborhood offers free parking, but shared scooters, bikes, and e-bikes can help you avoid the need to park a car.
This event and the wellness center are organized by the Health, Housing, and Community Services' Public Health Division. Berkeley Public Health helps community members find and access services to help prevent illness, such as low-cost health and dental check-ups, nutrition assistance, lead poisoning prevention, quit smoking classes, and more. Healthcare providers can find ways to collaborate and communicate with Berkeley Public Health.
The West Berkeley Family Wellness Center offers a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds to connect and care for their health. This helps meet a key need identified by our community through the Berkeley Wellness Blueprint Project.
