Registration Opens for the 2027 Virginia Food and Beverage Expo

Virginia Made, Market Ready; Virginia's Premier Specialty Food and Beverage Trade Event Returns to Richmond on March 24, 2027

Richmond, Va. - The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announces the return of Virginia's premier specialty food and beverage trade event. Producers, buyers, industry partners, and media are encouraged to register today to attend the 2027 Virginia Food & Beverage Expo on March 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Main Street Station, 1500 East Main Street, Richmond, Va.

The Virginia Food & Beverage Expo provides local and national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and food service representatives an opportunity to discover what Virginia's Finest® producers are making and bringing to market. Food and beverage industry buyers rely on this biennial event to find some of the best Virginia products that are packaged, labeled, and ready for a retail setting. Specialty food and beverage companies that are headquartered in Virginia are encouraged to register as an exhibitor for this event.

This popular culinary event showcases a variety of food and beverage products that are produced in the Commonwealth, including meats, cheeses, peanuts, pasta, condiments, confections, sauces, baked goods, soups, seafood, and more. Virginia artisanal and craft beverage exhibits include spirits, beer, mixers, wine, tea, and artisan water. The Virginia Food and Beverage Expo is the perfect opportunity for food industry buyers to sample specialty food and beverage items, meet one-on-one with producers, and place orders right on the show floor to take advantage of show sale specials.

Returning in 2027 is the popular best new products awards. This competition allows producers to enter new products developed over the past two years for an additional showcase opportunity in the Best in Show, Best New Beverage, Best New Sweet, and Best New Savory Product categories. Best New Products judging will occur in February, and each category award will be announced during the March expo.

There is no fee for buyers to attend this exclusive event; however, registration is required. Members of the media are welcome to attend and should pre-register as well.
