TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces overnight lane closures on southbound Rt 896 for sidewalk work (Sunday through Thursday). There will also be overnight lane closures on northbound and southbound Rt 72 for pavement striping (Sunday).

I-95 AND RAMP IMPACTS

· No scheduled impacts

Rt 896 IMPACTS

· Sunday, August 10th through Thursday, August 14th: Overnight lane closure, Southbound Rt 896 between Welsh Tract Road and the I-95 Interchange (9 PM - 5AM)

Rt 72 Impacts

· Sunday, August 10th: Overnight lane closures, northbound and southbound Rt 72 between Royal Farms and Blue Hen Drive (7PM - 5AM)
