Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Cao Zhongming Meets with Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Mr. Seah Kian Peng

Chinese Ambassador Cao Zhongming met with Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Mr Seah Kian Peng on March 10 to compare notes on China-Singapore relations and exchange between legislatures.

Ambassador Cao pointed out that Singapore is an important cooperative partner China has in the region, with whom China celebrated the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties last year. In the new year, China stands ready to work with Singapore to further elevate their all-round high-quality future-oriented partnership. The Chinese Embassy in Singapore will continue to promote exchange and cooperation between the legislatures of the two countries in order to contribute to the sustained growth of China-Singapore relations.

Mr Seah emphasized that Singapore-China relations are in good shape and that it is the shared responsibility of the two countries to work together to build on the progress.
