Clinton Street Closure Scheduled for Monday, August 17 for Crane Access
JOLIET, Ill. - Clinton Street will be closed to through traffic between Chicago Street and Scott Street on Monday, August 17 beginning at 7:00 a.m. to accommodate crane operations at 22 E. Clinton Street. The road is planned to be re-opened by 4:00 p.m. on August 17, depending on weather and other factors.
The temporary closure is necessary to allow for safe crane access to the roof of the Rialto Square Theatre. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow for additional travel time in the area. Access will be maintained to the Scott Street parking deck and adjacent alley.
Signage and traffic control measures will be in place to guide drivers and ensure pedestrian and vehicle safety throughout the duration of the closure. Normal traffic patterns are expected to resume following the completion of the work.
