NEW YORK CITY - "I am deeply honored to serve as a Co-Chair of Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's Transition Committee. This is a profound opportunity to help shape the next chapter for our city and continue United Way of New York City's mission to unite community power with citywide possibility.

For over two decades, my work has been rooted in advancing access, affordability, and dignity for neighbors across this city. Joining this committee is an extension of my personal commitment and role as both a public servant and the President and CEO of United Way of New York City.

A lifelong New Yorker, my work has always been about channeling the full force of this city by uniting government, private, and public partners in support of community-driven solutions. As the city's affordability crisis reaches new heights, my participation in the transition committee will reflect the work that United Way of New York City is advancing every day to ensure every New Yorker can thrive with dignity.

I am grateful for the trust placed in me and I look forward to continuing to address complex problems and empowering New Yorkers to thrive with dignity, working together with Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, trusted partners, and my esteemed colleagues on the Transition Committee."

Grace C. Bonilla
President and CEO
