Discover 440 Ways to Celebrate Fall Across Ohio

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) - Fall is right around the corner and TourismOhio is making it easy to pack every weekend with pumpkin picking, cider drinking, and wagon riding with the release of the new 2026 Ohio Fall Events Guide.

Now live at Ohio.org, the guide spotlights five standout events from each of Ohio's 88 counties, making it the ultimate planner for everything from big-time festivals to small-town favorites. Organized by month and region, it's designed to help travelers easily map out cozy date nights, family road trips, and spontaneous getaways all season long.

"Ohio's fall events are a celebration of the communities and traditions that make our state such a special place this time of year," said Lydia Mihalik, director of the Ohio Department of Development, which oversees TourismOhio. "Whether you're visiting somewhere new or rediscovering your own hometown, there's something worth falling for in every corner of the state."

This year's cover features a father and daughter at the Gorman Heritage Farm's Sunflower Festival in Evendale. Located just outside Cincinnati, Gorman Heritage Farm is open to visitors year-round. Their Sunflower Festival will take place Oct. 3-4 and offers cut-your-own sunflowers, live music, hayrides, craft vendors, and food trucks.

The guide continues to showcase beloved traditions like the Circleville Pumpkin Show and the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival, as well as events as part of the ongoing America 250 celebrations like the America 250 MusicFest in Versailles and the Sidney Civil War Living History Weekend.

"Everyone loves a summer bash, but a fall festival is really where it's at," said State Tourism Director Sarah Wickham. "It doesn't matter if you want to get spooked or cozy up under the lantern lights, there's an event in Ohio this season for everyone."
