Fatal crash investigation in West Des Moines *Update*

West Des Moines police have identified the fatally injured driver in yesterday's crash on Interstate 35. Investigators say Minh Thi (80) of West Des Moines died in the crash. He was driving northbound in the southbound lanes when the collision occurred. Two other drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The West Des Moines Police Traffic Unit and Identification Unit are continuing their investigation. At this point, however, no charges are expected to be filed.
