County Executive Adam Bello today announced the appointment of Amy Grower as Deputy County Executive. Grower will assume the role on January 1, 2026, replacing Deputy County Executive Jeff McCann, who was recently elected Greece Town Supervisor.

"Amy is one of the finest public servants I've worked with and has been an integral part of my leadership team and administration since day one. She has proven that she has the knowledge, skills, and dedication to serve as Deputy County Executive. Amy's incredible experience, deep commitment to public service, and proven track record of thoughtful leadership make her the perfect fit for this role. Her insight and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to work to improve the quality of life for families in Monroe County, invest in our local workforce, and build a stronger and safer community," said County Executive Bello.

In the role of Deputy County Executive, Grower will work alongside County Executive Bello to manage the day-to-day operations of County government, help guide policy development, and lead major projects that support the County Executive's priorities of public safety, public health, economic and workforce development, and infrastructure.

"Working with County Executive Bello since 2020 has been deeply rewarding and a true privilege. His collaborative leadership and unwavering commitment to putting residents first have helped instill a strong culture of service throughout county government," said Grower. "Public service has always been central to me and my family, and I am honored to be appointed Deputy County Executive. I am grateful to County Executive Bello for the confidence he has placed in me and for the opportunity to continue serving the people of Monroe County in this role."

Amy currently serves as Chief of Staff to the County Executive, where she has been instrumental in the transformation of Monroe County government under the Bello Administration. In her role as Chief of Staff, Amy oversees the day-to-day operations of the County Executive's Office, serves as a principal advisor to the County Executive, and manages various special projects including the Transformational Community Care Coordination Program (TC3).
