Carrier Unites Charitable Giving and Employee Volunteerism to Help Address Hunger

Support is estimated to provide 1.2 million meals in the U.S. and significant employee volunteer hours in hunger relief efforts

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Sept. 29, 2026 - Guided by Carrier's purpose, enhancing the lives we live and the world we share, Carrier is supporting hunger relief through charitable giving and employee volunteerism. In 2026, the company will donate more than a quarter of a million dollars to hunger-relief organizations worldwide, including Feeding America in the United States.Carrier's donation to Feeding America is expected to help provide 1.2 million meals to people facing food insecurity through the organization's network of food banks and agency partners.

The grant also equipped nine U.S. food banks with critical infrastructure support, enabling them to fund essential needs like cold storage units, freezers, refrigerators and repairs. These improvements help food banks accept more perishable donations and reduce food waste.

In recognition of Hunger Action Month and the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste on Sept. 29, Carrier is collaborating with Feeding America, the European Food Banks Federation and food banks worldwide to mobilize employee volunteers through November. Employees will come together and donate their time to sort, pack, serve and collect meals for community members in need.
