29th Street Living Communities Launch October Giving Campaign Across DMV

WASHINGTON, D.C. AREA, Sep 29, 2026 - 29th Street Living teams at the Apollo communities, Maven at Wheaton and Fenwick Apartments are joining local nonprofit partners for a month of giving this October. The effort includes coat and food drives to support neighbors across the region, followed by a team volunteer day.

Aspire, Allure and Ascend Apollo are collecting new or gently used coats for Mission of Love Charities. Ascend Apollo is also collecting nonperishable food for Thanksgiving, including canned vegetables, soup, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter and canned proteins.

Maven at Wheaton is collecting new or gently used coats for Interfaith Works to support Montgomery County neighbors and families. Fenwick Apartments is collecting new or gently used coats in support of Vietnam Veterans of America.

On Friday, October 30, the Fenwick team will volunteer with Nourish Now in Rockville, Maryland, helping pack and distribute Thanksgiving boxes for local families in need.

"Giving back starts with showing up for the communities we call home," said Victoria Douglas, Regional Manager with 29th Street Living. "We're proud of our teams for finding ways to support local families and nonprofit partners throughout the month."
