Deputy Minister of Defence Graces Sri Lanka Ex-Servicemen's Association 82nd Anniversary Celebration

Deputy Minister of Defence Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) attended the 82nd Anniversary Celebration of the Sri Lanka Ex-Servicemen's Association (SLESA) as the Chief Guest at the Eagles' Lakeside, Attidiya, 01 August.

On arrival, the Deputy Minister and other distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by the President of the Sri Lanka Ex-Servicemen's Association, Lieutenant Colonel Ajith Siyambalapitiya (Retd).

The commemorative event featured the presentation of meritorious service medals to members in recognition of their dedicated and longstanding service to the Association.

The ceremony was attended by the Commanders of the Tri-Forces, retired Commanders of the Tri Forces, senior military officers, distinguished invitees and a large gathering of members of the Sri Lanka Ex-Servicemen's Association.
