The newest Blue Hen alumni are heading into careers, classrooms and communities across the country and beyond

The countdown to Commencement is on for the Class of 2026. In just a few days, UD graduates will cross the stage and turn their tassels - celebrating years of hard work, unforgettable memories and everything still ahead. From first jobs to graduate school to new adventures, these soon-to-be Blue Hen alumni are ready for what comes next.

Ella Reifsneider, environmental studies
She'll work with Delaware's Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control as a park assistant at White Clay Creek State Park.

Anne Connelly, honors food science

She'll be working as a research and development intern at La Colombe - Chobani, working to standardize the roasting process of coffee beans.

Zoe Elzey, elementary and middle school teacher education
She'll be teaching kindergarten at Mount Pleasant Elementary School in the Brandywine School District.

Vivian Wiggins, public policy and health behavior science
She'll be a supportive housing liaison with the Delaware State Housing Authority.

Sean Fletcher, honors medical diagnostics
He'll be attending Sidney Kimmel Medical College.

Caleb Mathis, public administration (honors 4+1 program)
He'll be starting a full-time role in Washington, D.C., in the Office of Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester as a special staff assistant.

Ella Houghton, honors international relations
She will be working as a youth development facilitator in the Peace Corps in Costa Rica.

Piper Goldstein, fashion merchandising and management
She will be an assistant buyer at Burlington Stores.

Sally Bornhorst, marine science
She will work as a sea turtle nighttime tagging supervisor at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium.

Emily Ortiz Torres, world languages education
She'll be teaching Spanish at Hodgson Vo Tech High School in Newark - the same high school she graduated from.

Abby Fowler, honors neuroscience and computer science
She will be doing research at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center through a postbaccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) position.

Brian Dill, international business (master's)
He'll backpack through Europe before starting a position as an analyst in the Global Finance and Business Management Program at JPMorganChase.

Cris Granada, communication with concentration in media communication
He'll be a production assistant at NBC Sports.

Gabrielle Petro, early childhood education
She'll be teaching preK in the Kent County Community Schools in the Capital School District.

Katherine Turner, environmental studies
She'll be continuing her education at UD pursuing a master's degree in geography, studying community and impacts of extreme heat.

Katie Redfearn, marketing and finance
She'll be working at JPMorgan Chase in the company's corporate analyst development program.

Ashley Cooke, honors nursing
She'll be a nurse resident in ChristianaCare's Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

Ava Trauger, integrated health sciences
She will be heading to Thomas Jefferson University to continue occupational therapy studies as part of the 3+3 program.

Michael Sullivan, business analytics and finance
He'll be working at Capital One as a business analyst in the company's analyst development program in Washington, D.C.

Leonard Rein, human physiology
He'll be attending Stony Brook University for dentistry school.

Isabella Gesino, honors pre-veterinary medicine
She's headed to veterinary school at the University of Georgia.

Bhoktear Khan, geography (doctorate)
He will begin an internship at NASA EarthRISE Developers Academy.

William Chen, honors finance and business analytics double major
He'll join the Finance Career Foundation Program at Boeing as an analyst.

Alexander Dewey, public policy (4+1 program)
He'll be a planner with the City of Dover, Delaware.

Patrycja Puzio, evaluation science (masters's)
She is staying at UD to pursue a Ph.D. in communication sciences and disorders.

Anas Al Darwashi, cybersecurity engineering
He'll be a software engineer at Newark-based Proxa Labs.

Logan Feiler, honors mechanical engineering
He'll be a design engineer at Moonprint Solutions in Dover, Delaware.

Thomas Ciborowski, finance and financial planning and wealth management

He'll be a financial analyst at Exelon in Newark, where he worked as part of the Lerner Co-op Program.
