World Cultural Heritage Tour in Beijing: Great Wall
The Great Wall, a winding military defense line stretching thousands of miles, was first constructed during the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Periods, and expanded over successive dynasties primarily for defense, with the Ming Great Wall being the largest. It symbolizes China's national identity and embodies resilience and perseverance. It was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1987.
