Rehabilitation at our Detention Center

At the City of Las Vegas Department of Public Safety (DPS), we believe in second chances. Our Detention Center offers valuable programs designed to help inmates get back on their feet and reintegrate into society as contributing, financially independent members. There are more than a dozen programs designed to address the physical, emotional and social needs of those in our custody. Among them, the facility offers job-training workshops, emotional wellness classes, addiction recovery programs and educational services. Each program is an opportunity to transform lives and break cycles of recidivism.
