Challenge Accepted

This year's TCU Gives Day runs from noon to noon on Oct. 6-7, and provides the TCU community an opportunity to support students and impact future generations of Horned Frogs.

Donors can give to a school or college of their choice, student scholarships or support a favorite cause during the 24-hour, action-packed giving period. These gifts make an immediate and direct impact, empowering Horned Frogs to explore passions, build their dreams and transform the world.

Early giving begins on Sept. 9. Make sure you're counted during this year's TCU Gives Day.

"TCU Gives Day creates a public display of our community's spirit of giving, showcasing TCU's culture of philanthropy," said Kristee Bell, assistant vice chancellor for loyalty giving. "This online initiative magnifies the power of collective giving and how important each gift is, no matter the size. A $1 gift can help unlock challenges that range from $1,000 to $250,000, multiplying the impact of each contribution."

As in years past, donor maps and leaderboards will showcase the areas and class years leading the charge, where giving turns into a friendly global competition. Mobile payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay and Cash App, make giving easier than ever.

This year's effort builds on the strong momentum of TCU Gives Day 2025 during which:

• More than 2,669 gifts under $150 were made, representing 82% of all gifts.

• 74 social media ambassadors generated 964 clicks, 227 donors and $40,551 in gifts.

• More than $2.2 million was raised to drive key initiatives and strengthen programs and people across campus.

• Over 80% of contributions supported student scholarships and school, college or departmental funds - showcasing a united focus on academic excellence.

• Donors from all 50 states and four countries around the world joined in, making TCU Gives Day a global effort.

Horned Frogs can also get involved by participating in the Flat SuperFrog initiative, by photographing or videoing their favorite mascot on an adventure in their cities or on the TCU Campus.

"Let's show the power of the Horned Frog network - and how far our purple pride reaches," said Bell. "These voices and participation will help spread the word and inspire even more Horned Frogs to get involved!"

For those looking to support TCU faculty and staff, the Staff Development Fund and the Beto Cruz Award are also accepting gifts. These funds can be found by typing them into the designation field on the giving form.

You can also support the recently announced TCU Scholarship Initiative, helping ensure that admission criteria, not ability to pay, decides who becomes a Horned Frog. Over the past decade, we've increased TCU's financial aid offering substantially - by more than $150 million - and thousands of students are benefiting, but there's more work to be done.
