With thousands of individuals impacted by the recent fires and windstorm in Los Angeles County, Cal State LA along with local organizations have rallied together to help both the campus and surrounding communities.
Cal State LA is made available to local authorities for staging, logistics support, or evacuation shelter, if called upon during this crisis and through the recovery. Additionally, many organizations that the University has strong partnerships with are on the frontlines of providing support.
Over these past several devastating days, hundreds of Cal State LA students, faculty, and staff have also been displaced, some having lost homes and all that represents. The University offers its thoughts and heart-felt sympathies to these members of our Golden Eagle family.
For those who are looking for ways to help, there is a Golden Eagle LA Fire Recovery Fund designed to support the basic and general needs of Cal State LA students, faculty, and staff who have been deeply impacted by the devastating wildfires affecting neighborhoods across Los Angeles.
