Conyers, Ga. (August 31, 2026) - Piedmont Rockdale Hospital and Piedmont Oncology are expanding access to comprehensive cancer care with the addition of Chandana Kamireddy, M.D., an experienced, board-certified, fellowship-trained medical oncologist.
Dr. Kamireddy is experienced in caring for patients with several types of cancer, including lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and breast cancer as well as benign and malignant blood disorders such as leukemia and lymphoma. Her clinical interests include breast and gastrointestinal oncology, cancer prevention, and cancer screening.
"We are delighted to have Dr. Kamireddy join our growing medical and surgical oncology team," said Piedmont Rockdale CEO Monica Hum, M.D. "Dr. Kamireddy's expertise and clinical experience will help more patients receive specialized treatment without leaving their community."

Before joining Piedmont, Dr. Kamireddy provided hematology and medical oncology care to patients and served as an assistant professor at the West Virginia University Cancer Institute in Wheeling. She previously held faculty and hospitalist roles at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she focused on bone marrow transplant care.
