Public Meetings Scheduled for the Week of June 9, 2025

The Ohio Banking Commission will meet Wednesday, June 11 at 10 a.m. at the Vern Riffe State Office Tower, Floor 21, 77 South High Street, Columbus.

The Banking Commission advises the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and the Deputy Superintendent for Banks on any matters submitted to it by the Division of Financial Institutions, and confirms the annual schedule of assessments.

The Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board Plumbing Section will meet Wednesday, June 11 at 10 a.m. at 6606 Tussing Road, Reynoldsburg.

OCILB issues licenses to qualified electrical, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, hydronics and refrigeration contractors who successfully pass a licensing examination. The Board sections review applicants before they are approved to take the test for a particular trade. The Board sections also issue disciplinary actions as well as review late renewals and continuing education courses.

The Cemetery Dispute Resolution Commission will meet Thursday, June 12 at 10 am. at 6606 Tussing Road, Reynoldsburg.

The Cemetery Dispute Resolution Commission assists in resolving complaints against registered cemeteries by using informal techniques of mediation, conciliation and persuasion. The Commission hears complaints brought by individuals who are experiencing a problem with a cemetery.

The Board of Building Standards Certification and Education Committees will meet on Thursday, June 12 at 12 p.m. at the Division of Industrial Compliance, 6606 Tussing Road, BBS Library, Reynoldsburg.

The Certification and Education Committees review building departments, building department personnel and continuing education applications and make recommendations to the Board of Building Standards. The committees also review and make recommendations to the Board on other personnel and education-related issues.

The Board of Building Standards Code Committee will meet on Thursday, June 12 at 2 p.m. at the Division of Industrial Compliance, 6606 Tussing Road, Training Room 2, Reynoldsburg.

The Code Committee reviews petitions for building code changes and makes recommendations to the Board of Building Standards.

The Board of Building Standards will meet on Friday, June 13 at 10 a.m. at the Division of Industrial Compliance, 6606 Tussing Road, Training Room 1, Reynoldsburg.

The Board of Building Standards formulates and adopts rules governing the Ohio Residential and Non-Residential Building Codes. The Board also certifies municipal, county and township building departments to enforce the Ohio Residential and Non-Residential Codes.
