A public hearing to consider the possible parole of Chester Tisdel, #107195

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. to consider the possible parole of Chester Tisdel, #107195. The hearing will be conducted via video using Microsoft Teams.

Those planning to access the hearing must complete the online registration form no later than February 13, 2026. Public hearing guidelines and access information can be found here.

Chester Tisdel was sentenced to two terms of Life for the crime of Murder 2nd Degree-Habitual 4th (two counts). Chester Tisdel was sentenced on January 26, 1981, out of St. Joseph County.

Colin Riehl, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.

When logging into the hearing, your video camera must be turned off and audio muted to eliminate distraction during the hearing.
