Grand Duchess Collection Expands Alongside New Artificial Tree Innovations This Holiday Season

The Grand Duchess Tree Collection is back this season with several new additions, plus more new artificial tree innovations from The Home Depot are here to help you create the holiday set up of your dreams. Aubrey Horowitz, holiday decor merchant at The Home Depot, unveils the latest additions to the viral Grand Duchess collection- offering a range of sizes and styles designed to seamlessly add holiday magic into any space, and more on the best artificial trees of the season.

Why the Expansion?

The Grand Duchess collection captured widespread attention when it went viral on social media in 2023, and customer enthusiasm hasn't slowed down. "The expansion of the line came straight from customer feedback.

There's so much excitement around this tree, so we wanted to go all-in and give them more of the collection with new flocked trees, the wreath, garlands and more.

This year they can decorate as much as they want with this look and feel that they love," she says.

What's New?

This year, the collection includes flocked trees in both regular and slim sizes, a wreath, 9 ft. and 12 ft. garlands, plus smaller options like a two-pack of 3-foot trees and a 4-foot potted tree that can go indoors or outdoors.

"We also see customers decorating with more than one tree now, so we added several slim versions so they can fill out entryways and nooks to fit any space," Aubrey shared.

What Makes Grand Duchess Unique?

The collection stands out for its lifelike design and innovative features. Branches mimic the look of a real balsam fir, while Quick Set® technology and memory wire make setup simple and fast. Micro fairy bulbs create a dazzling effect for another notable feature, as customers can choose from nine different light functions, including the fan-favorite twinkle setting. "It's a beautiful, high-quality artificial tree with unbeatable innovation and value," Aubrey explains.

What's New in Lighting?

While Grand Duchess remains the star, The Home Depot is also introducing exciting lighting innovations across its holiday assortment. The new Breckenridge tree features adaptive lighting technology, allowing full color customization-from brightness and color temperature to dual-color effects and a full-spectrum color wheel. "You can create your own color theme, match your favorite sports or football team colors, let the kids pick out a color scheme, and so much more with this tree," Aubrey adds. The Breckenridge is available in three sizes and in flocked or unflocked versions.

For those who love the classic look, the new Nostalgic Noble Tree features real glass bulbs that mimic the look of incandescent bulbs but have the energy efficiency of LEDs. There are nine light functions and color-changing options for these lights, too. "I love this tree for its classic, warm and cozy aesthetic that the bulbs bring. It's really for any decorator and sets the perfect mood for a cheerful, nostalgic holiday," says Aubrey.
