Michael Saylor Declares Bitcoin Bear Market Over as ETFs Attract Fresh Inflows and Strive...

Bitcoin is attracting renewed attention from investors as optimism returns to the cryptocurrency market. Michael Saylor, the executive chairman of Strategy, has declared that Bitcoin's bear market is over, predicting that the leading digital asset could surge back above $100,000.

His outlook comes as spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds record $175.6 million in net inflows, while Ethereum ETFs attract another $24.8 million. Meanwhile, Strive has reportedly purchased 3,311 Bitcoin, increasing its total holdings to 32,773 BTC.

These developments suggest that institutional investors may be positioning themselves for another significant phase of Bitcoin's market recovery. Saylor remains one of Bitcoin's most prominent advocates, consistently arguing that the cryptocurrency offers an attractive long-term store of value.

His latest prediction reflects confidence that selling pressure may be weakening and that renewed demand could support higher prices. Declaring a bear market over does not guarantee an immediate rally, particularly when cryptocurrency prices remain sensitive to macroeconomic conditions, investor sentiment, and changes in liquidity.

The $100,000 threshold represents an important psychological milestone for Bitcoin. A sustained move above this level could strengthen market confidence, encourage additional institutional participation, and attract investors who have remained cautious during recent volatility.

Bitcoin would need to overcome resistance from traders seeking to sell into a recovery before a lasting upward trend could emerge. ETF activity provides another important indicator of investor sentiment.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $175.6 million in net inflows, suggesting that investors are continuing to allocate capital through regulated investment products. These funds have made Bitcoin more accessible to traditional investors who prefer exposure through brokerage accounts rather than directly purchasing and managing digital assets.

When ETF inflows increase, fund providers generally need to acquire Bitcoin to support additional shares, depending on the product's creation and redemption arrangements. Sustained inflows can therefore contribute to demand for the underlying cryptocurrency.

A single day of positive flows is not sufficient to establish a long-term trend. Investors will need to monitor whether inflows continue over several trading sessions. Ethereum ETFs recorded positive momentum, attracting $24.8 million in net inflows.

The development suggests that institutional interest may extend beyond Bitcoin, potentially reflecting broader confidence in digital assets. Ethereum's investment appeal is linked to its blockchain infrastructure, decentralised finance ecosystem, and role in tokenisation and smart-contract applications.

Still, Bitcoin and Ethereum may respond differently to economic developments and market conditions. Their ETF flows should therefore be assessed separately rather than treated as identical indicators of investor demand.

Strive's reported acquisition of 3,311 Bitcoin adds another dimension to the recovery narrative. With total holdings reaching 32,773 BTC, the company is strengthening its position among corporate Bitcoin holders. Such purchases reinforce the growing strategy of treating Bitcoin as a treasury asset rather than relying exclusively on traditional cash reserves.

Corporate accumulation can signal confidence in Bitcoin's long-term appreciation potential. However, concentrating treasury assets in a volatile cryptocurrency also introduces substantial financial risks, including potential losses during prolonged downturns.

Saylor's prediction, positive ETF flows, and Strive's reported purchase provide reasons for market participants to watch Bitcoin closely. Together, they highlight the influence of institutional demand and corporate accumulation on cryptocurrency sentiment.

Whether Bitcoin returns above $100,000 will depend on sustained buying pressure, broader financial conditions, and its ability to overcome technical resistance. Renewed inflows and continued accumulation offer encouraging signals, but investors should distinguish optimism from certainty as the market enters its next phase.
