The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has cancelled the public meeting scheduled for Oct. 9 in DeFuniak Springs regarding flathead catfish in Panhandle rivers.
Out of an abundance of caution due to potential impacts from Tropical Storm Isaias, the FWC is cancelling the meeting for the safety of the public.
The FWC plans to reschedule the meeting for a later date. We will announce updated meeting information once we determine a new date and time.
For the open/closed status of FWC offices, facilities and managed areas visit MyFWC.com and select "WMA OPEN/CLOSED STATUS."
