Cary, NC - Early voting for the 2026 Primary Election is underway in Wake and Chatham counties at various times and locations through February 28. For voters in Wake County, Herb Young Community Center will serve as an early voting location for the following times through February 28:
Wake County operates wakevotesearly.com to provide a full list of early voting locations, daily hours, and bus routes, along with an interactive map, live wait times, and information about same-day registration.
At all early voting sites, expect extra pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Follow onsite signage for appropriate parking places. At Herb Young Community Center, the lower two levels of the parking deck are designated for voter parking and are typically the most readily available. While all four levels are open to voters, the upper levels may fill more quickly.
March 3 is the statewide Primary Election Day; a full list of locations, hours, and more is available at wake.gov/election and chathamcountync.gov/elections.
