Important Notice: Fire Life Safety Annual Inspection

Dear Adelphi Community,

The Department of Public Safety and Transportation would like to inform you that the Annual New York State Fire Life Safety Inspections will take place on the Garden City Campus on Wednesday, November 4, Friday November 6 and Monday November 9. We anticipate that the residence hall inspections will take place on November 4 and 6.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal conducts these inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations; the inspections will include essential aspects such as electrical systems, fire extinguishers, exits, signage and potential obstructions. Your cooperation in facilitating access and ensuring compliance with safety measures during this time is greatly appreciated.
