City of Frederick Seeks Community Feedback on Westside Community Center Design
The City of Frederick invites residents to attend a Community Meeting on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 6:30 PM at the Butterfly Ridge Elementary School Recreation Center, located at 601 Contender Way, Frederick, MD 21703 (please use the Recreation Center entrance at the rear of the building).
As part of the design phase for the new Community Center in Westside Regional Park, the City is seeking public input to help shape the vision for the facility. During the meeting, residents will learn about the proposed building program, conceptual layout, and design inspiration.
Community feedback is essential in creating a space that reflects the values, stories, and identity of the Westside. Attendees will be asked to weigh in on everything from floor plans and architectural style to ideas for public art and cultural representation.
