NORTHBROOK, Ill. - May 29, 2026 - UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, issued a public notice regarding 31 passenger elevator fire door labels bearing the UL Certification Mark. These labels were reported missing by the Elevator Equipment Corp of Los Angeles, California.
These labels are not authorized by UL Solutions to be affixed to any product. Passenger elevator fire doors that carry the affected labels in the number range identified below are not UL Certified, and UL Solutions recommends that these products be removed from service.
The missing labels bear a UL Certification Mark - "UL" in a circle and the word "CLASSIFIED" - and the following:
