City of Brentwood Employee Recognized with Prestigious National Award

The City of Brentwood is proud to recognize Jacquelyn (Jaci) Parsons for receiving one of the highest honors in the water industry, the 2025 George Fuller Award, presented by the California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA). The award was presented during the 2025 national AWWA Conference held in Denver, Colorado.

The George Fuller Award is one of the most prestigious recognitions in the water supply profession, honoring individuals for their distinguished service and outstanding contributions toward the advancement of water works practice. Jaci's selection for this honor is a reflection of her extraordinary commitment and leadership in the water industry.

Jaci has been involved in the AWWA since 1992, contributing 33 years of dedicated service to the organization. Throughout her three decades of involvement, she has served in a variety of roles, including planning and coordinating conference events and operator competitions at both the local and national levels. She is widely recognized for her passion, leadership, and action-oriented approach, while remaining deeply committed to family, science, and environmental stewardship. Her dedication to providing clean, safe drinking water, along with her volunteer service and significant contributions to the water industry, make her a truly deserving recipient of this prestigious award.

The City of Brentwood is proud of Jaci's accomplishments and grateful for her continued service to the community. She joined the City of Brentwood in 2007 and has been an invaluable member of the team for the past 18 years. "Jaci's unwavering dedication to providing safe and reliable drinking water, combined with her decades of volunteer service and leadership, make her an outstanding recipient of this national honor," said Public Works Director Casey Wichert. "The City of Brentwood is fortunate to have Jaci as part of our team, and we are incredibly proud of her well-deserved recognition."
