One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week

Mariposa County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures next week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance operations. Work to occur as follows:

State Route 49

• One-way traffic control from Princeton Way to Bear Valley Point for tree work beginning Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from French Camp Road to Whitlock Road for utility work on Tuesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

State Route 140

• One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for banner work on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
