Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, September 8 - 19, 2025

HANNIBAL - The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Adair County

U.S. Route 63 Southbound - September 9 - 10, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Missouri Route 11 to Eagle Trail in Kirksville between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Route V - September 11 & 15 - 16, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 6 to Wilson Town Road near Gibbs between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Audrain County

Route T - September 8, CLOSED for patching operations from Route E to Route C near Centralia between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Clark County

U.S. Route 61 Southbound - September 8, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Sugar Creek to Route H between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 81 - September 8, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 358 to CR 271 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 81 - September 9 - 10, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 297 to CR 361 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Macon County

Route V - September 8 - 11, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Otter Avenue to Mahogany Street between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Monroe County

U.S. Route 24 Eastbound - September 8 - 12, LANE RESTRICTION for grinding high joints from Route W to Route V between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily.

U.S. Route 24 - September 9 - 15, LANE RESTRICTION for shoulder work from Business Route 24 and Route W between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily.

Montgomery County

Route CC - September 9 - 10, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 161 to Route E between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Route JJ - September 11, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route F to Route E between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Route ZZ - September 8 - 9, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 19 to Route B between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Randolph County

Route AA - September 8, 10 - 11 & 15 - 16, CLOSED for patching operations from Route A to CR 2630 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route AA - September 9 - 10, CLOSED for patching operations from Route B to CR 2630 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.
