AU–EU Summit Model: Where Tomorrow’s Leaders Step into Diplomacy Today

At the heart of the AU-EU partnership is a clear recognition: youth are not only stakeholders of the future, but active shapers of the present. It is in this spirit that Model Africa Union-Ethiopia, in partnership with the European Union Delegation to the African Union and the African Union Commission's Women, Youth and Gender Directorate, has launched the AU-EU Summit Model under the theme: "Intercontinental Youth Collaboration: Strengthening AU-EU Partnership in Peace, Climate and Economic Development."

Beyond its diplomatic simulation, the AU-EU Summit Model is a vibrant arena for intercultural exchange, leadership development, and skills-building. Participants strengthen competencies in negotiation, diplomacy, climate governance, and inclusive economic policymaking, while deepening mutual understanding between African and European youth.
