Tarleton State Women’s Golf travels west for Fresno State Classic Monday-Tuesday

FRESNO, Calif. - After two weeks off, the Texans are set to return to action Monday morning as they compete in the Fresno State Classic in Fresno, California hosted by Fresno State.

Last time the Purple and White was in action it saw them earn another top-three finish this season, this time at the Riverbend Intercollegiate hosted by Houston Christian. Depadt led the Texans as she finished fifth shooting par, E (216, 72-72-72) as Deltombe followed close behind finishing tied for sixth as she turned in a score of +2 (218, 70-75-73).

The two-day classic will feature 54 holes with 36 coming on Monday followed by the final 18 Tuesday. Tee times are set for an 8:30 a.m. start on Monday followed by an 8:30 a.m. start on Tuesday.

The eight-team field includes Tarleton State, CSU Bakersfield, CSUN, Hawaii, Portland State, UC Riverside, Weber State and host Fresno State.

The classic is set to take place at the Copper River Country Club in Fresno, California. The course is a par 72 with a yardage count of 6,268.
