Appeal to locate man missing from Port Macquarie

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's Mid North coast.

David Bartush, aged 74, was last seen at Thrumster (approximately 9km south west of Port Macquarie) about 6am on Saturday (4 January 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for David's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 183cm tall, of thin build, with grey hair and hazel eyes.

David was last seen wearing black shorts, a cream knitted t-shirt, white shoes and a black cap.

He may be driving a white Skoda sedan with NSW registration DQD 79S.
