PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk continues to strengthen security efforts across the company's Mining Business Permit (IUP) areas as part of its commitment to safeguarding state assets and improving governance.

Security measures in the company's IUP areas are carried out by PT Timah's internal security team in collaboration with law enforcement authorities to oversee, regulate, and enforce legal action against unauthorized mining activities within its concession.

These security efforts are in line with the President's directive to put an end to illegal tin mining, ensuring that national tin governance complies with existing regulations, contributes optimally to the state, and reduces environmental damage.

Furthermore, optimizing IUP security is expected to prevent production leakage, maintain tin sustainability, protect the environment, and ensure that the benefits of mining are felt by the community.
